From: anilj, RBC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Software Systems Engineer Pasadena, CA /onsite Level: Full Performance Senior Developmental Work Location: This position is required to work on-site, in Pasadena, CA Security Clearance: An active TS/SCI clearance is required Bachelors in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support GDS development, test, and day to day operations. Comprehend and write Java code. Comprehend vector mathematics. Automated planning and scheduling concepts Support to GDS end users. Supporting software system process activities. Conducting system level testing of the GDS software, manual and/or automated Contributing to team documentation, including training guide This position requires a U.S. Citizen who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization Mandatory Skills: 1. Experience with software architecture practices and extensive experience in the integration and deployment of large scale and highly complex software systems. 2. Produce quality products through prioritization. 3. Experience with a coding/scripting language(s), preferably Java, python, or shell scripts. 4. Experience working with software configuration management tools (such as GIT, SVN, AccuRev, CVS, JIRA). 5. Communications and interpersonal skills including writing and reviewing technical operations documentation. 6. Work with internal and external program stakeholders, as well as subcontractor teams 7. An active and in-scope TS/SCI U.S. security clearance Optional Skills: 1. Masters or Doctorate degree in a related STEM preferred field. 2. JPL, NASA, or DoD practices and standards 3.
