Data Engineer - Expert Level F2F Work Location: 1109-ExxonMobil Campus Houston, Texas (Need local to Texas) with DL and active linkedin Face to Face Interview The current consultant working on the position, has 15 years of experience, needs a person who can replace him. The current consultant is solid and follows directions but needs to have a more senior leader who can organize and lead the team. The Senior Data Engineer will be working with 7 or more source systems and will be using SQL to cleanse, unify, transform, and/or join the data. Additionally, the Senior Data Engineer will be required to build dimensional models for analytic consumption by business analysts, with the ability to fine-tune queries to optimize performance. The Senior Data Engineer is also tasked with data scraping from unstructured formats, including data from HTML, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF files.
