Sr Database Engineer with Postgre SQL (Mandatory) 12+ Months Contract Johnston RI (Onsite) Job Description: Collaborate with product managers to make sure database code meets demand and efficiency Minimum 5+ years of Experience on PostgreSQL with debugging, query tuning of Experience and knowledge on migration from DB2/Oracle to PostgreSQL Communicate with Service/backend developers to define plain yet dynamic APIs and understanding of API/Spring services Keep a check on data structures and quality of data with DBAs and experience on performance tuning Integrate and maintain database code in complex procedures, scripts, queries, and views\\ Take ownership of the solution from end to end and be responsible for translating functional requirements. Knowledge of SVN, GitFlow, DevOps, Continuous Deployment and/or Integration Collaborative and open work ethic, Coordinate with the developers, managers and leadership teams to build effective databases The candidate must have Good hands on experience in application development using Java, Spring boot. Strong working knowledge of XML/JSON, HTML/CSS3, CLOBs and associated modern technologies. Good working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 10g+.
