Job Description:- Job Role:- Sr Network Engineer with InfiniBand Location :- Fremont, CA (Onsite) Contract Must have InfiniBand expertise In this job, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimizing InfiniBand network architectures for cutting-edge computing needs. You'll work directly with Hiring Manager to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the InfiniBand infrastructure. The Ideal Candidate Proven track record as a Senior Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex networks. In-depth knowledge of InfiniBand technology, including network fabrics, switches, adapters, and routing protocols. Expertise in data center network configurations, with a solid understanding of optics, fibers, and related infrastructure. Strong scripting skills using Python for network automation tasks. Experience with network monitoring tools and a proactive approach to troubleshooting network issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in InfiniBand technology. Responsibilities Design and Deploy InfiniBand Network Architectures: Plan and implement InfiniBand network configurations tailored to client's specific high-performance computing requirements. Configuration and Optimization: Configure and fine-tune InfiniBand switches, routers, adapters, and other hardware components to ensure peak performance and reliability. Network Security Implementation: Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data transmitted over the InfiniBand network, adhering to industry standards and client's security policies. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain optimal uptime for the InfiniBand network. Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate InfiniBand technology into various projects and applications, providing technical expertise and guidance. Vendor Collaboration and Evaluation: Partner with hardware and software vendors to evaluate new InfiniBand technologies and recommend enhancements to the existing infrastructure.
