The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience designing and implementing solutions using IBM Aspera technology. As an IBM Aspera Developer, you will play a key role in developing new features, enhancing existing functionality, and ensuring the reliability and performance of Aspera solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop software solutions using IBM Aspera technology to facilitate high-speed data transfer and management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement solutions that meet client needs. Develop custom applications, plugins, and integrations to extend the functionality of IBM Aspera products and address specific client requirements. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript. Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high quality and reliability. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and technical expertise. Stay updated on the latest developments in IBM Aspera technology and incorporate new features and enhancements into software solutions. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams on Aspera integration, customization, and troubleshooting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on networked applications and data transfer technologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript. Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, UDP, routing, and firewalls. Experience with version control systems such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of data transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, HTTP, and Aspera FASP is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
