Title: F5 Network Engineer Location : Branchburg, NJ(Fully Onsite) Duration : 3+ months contract Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT Job Description About the job This Position is more of Infrastructure or Network Security Engineer. The lab work might involve installation and deinstallation of network equipment, testing, or documenting environments. The production work might involve creating configurations based on the lab testing, and ensuring the configuration is successfully deployed. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related. Skills and Experience: Excellent understanding of network architectures including the roles of routers, switches, firewall, and application delivery controllers. Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills, especially L1/2/3 troubleshooting skills. 3-5 years of advanced configuration & system administration experience with Juniper SRX and F5 firewalls, or similar. experience with configuring basic routing and switching, preferable using Nokia but Juniper & Cisco is also acceptable. experience with installation and deinstallation of network equipment (firewalls, switches etc) Experience with Keysight/Ixia Breaking Point traffic simulators. Experience with scripting and automation Strong project management & organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral), and the ability to multitask. Significant experience with element management, network management tools, alarming, reporting, and network operations.
