The Senior Software Engineer shall: Lead and/work on the Solution design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of the Solution. Plan, install, configure, test, implement and manage the systems environment in support of the DCAO architecture and business needs. Analyze and refine the system requirements; Translate systems requirements into solution prototypes. Plan and design system architecture; Write, debug maintain code(s); Determine and design applications architecture; Determine output media/formats; Design user interfaces; Work with customers to test solution; Assure solution and systems quality and functionality; Integrate hardware and software components. Write and maintain program documentation. Ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of the solution. Analyze systems requirements in response to business requirements, risks and costs. Evaluate, select, verify and validate the systems environment. Evaluate, select and install compilers, assemblers and utilities (as needed); Integrate hardware and software components within the systems environment. Monitor and fine-tune performance of the systems environment. Evaluate new systems engineering technologies and their effect on the operating environment.
