| Role: Application Tester Automation Visa: No OPT/CPT/H1BT Experience: 12+Needed Location: Near MD/DE/PA/VA Contract Role:12 Months Client :Intuit Must Haves: Experience in quality assurance concepts and best practices Experience creating test cases and writing automation test scripts Experience in running tests for application functions Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies Familiarity with defect management tools (HP ALM, JIRA etc.) Experience with Test-Driven Development using automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber and Protractor Duties/Responsibilities: Create and document test plans, execute tests, analyze results, and report problems and anomalies, all via the lens of business end users Building software testing plan/programs that automate testing processes Understanding Test Requirements and analyzing the Application under Test(AUT). Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands. Enhancing Test cases using Java Programming Operate in SAFe Agile approach to support testing needs Collaborating with other QA members, developers and other team members Retesting application after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properly Ensure software testing is done on-time and as planned and notify management about bottlenecks and other issues and risks Assist Business subject matter experts and business analysts in the development of UAT test scenarios leveraging SIT test cases (if possible) Participate in defect triage meetings and demos Report weekly status to Quality Assurance Testing Lead Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar General Experience: At least four (5) years of experience with testing in software development projects.
