Solid understanding of search engine technologies, search algorithms, and data structures Experience with indexing, querying, and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Familiarity with search relevance models and ranking techniques Experience maintaining and designing applications on AWS. Experience with building efficient distributed, scalable, high quality software services, microservices Big Data Technologies Apache Lucene/Solr, Sys admin, AWS Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with database technologies and SQL Experience in Agile methodologies, and CI/CD DevOps tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions, GitHub Co-pilot etc.) Develop and maintain advanced query rewriting functionality. In-depth understanding of SOLR, Elasticsearch, and Lucene Proficient in Java, JVM tuning, and debugging. Good knowledge of automation and tooling using Python or Java Understanding of Linux for debugging tools and performance tuning Knowledge of containers such as Kubernetes or Docker is a plus.
