Location: Hybrid. Must be ONSITE 1 day a week.

Client: State Government - Maine

Rate: $55 - 60 C2C depending on experience.

Maybe higher for a Subject Matter Expert level candidate

Top 3 Skills:

Front End Web Development

Angular, Angular Material, Typescript, RxJS, NgRx

UI/UX

Developer will be working with other staff on the OIT/MaineDOT development team on front-end development in multiple applications.

The developer will be working with the team to help refine the development design and process.

Current application front-ends are written in Angular and Angular Material using TypeScript, but one application is still open to other front-end technologies including React.js.

Two of the applications also are related to GIS and have mapping interfaces.

Experience with GIS and/or the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript is not a requirement but would be helpful.

Experience with backend development using .NET Core and Entity Framework would also be a plus.

Core competencies the ability to work in a team environment, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to be flexible in a changing environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:

- Back-end development with .NET Core

- Entity Framework

- GIS and/or the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript

- UI design

- GitHub or Git

- Python
