| From: Deepshikha Dixit, DRK America LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi , Please let me know your interest in the below role- DevOps Engineer Visa-GC AND USC Location: New York, NY Long Term Contract Hybrid 4 days a week onsite Job Description: Hybrid - 4 days onsite at 1 NYP Bachelor's degree is compulsory Local and Tri-state candidates will be highly preferred Candidate will be responsible for configuring the network management toolset to ensure proper network device support with respect to data collection, representation, reporting, and overall orchestration workflows. Principal Job Responsibility: 1. Develop and maintain the automation toolset (Python & legacy tools in Perl) for network device change management, data collection, and reporting. 2. Enhance existing scripts to improving workflows and incorporating new technologies. 3. Adapt and transform operational and/or functional needs into solutions 4. Conduct tooling audits to assess proper operational coverage and build remediation changes as required 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback on network automation solutions. 6. Conduct regular assessments to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and optimization. 7. Facilitate and coordinate work with external vendors for tooling updates and upgrades Required Skills: 1. Experience with version control systems like Git (BitBucket,GitHub). 2. Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, integrating automation into a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. 3. Python scripting experience is required with additional languages (shell, PERL, etc) preferred. Linux familiarity required. 4. Experience with Enterprise Network Configuration Management and/or Network Workflow Automation Tools. 5. Knowledge of database management systems like MongoDB for storing and retrieving data. 6. Understanding of NMS protocols and concepts (SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DNS, NetFlow, TACACS, Netconf, API, Jinja, Yang, YAML, XML, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, ACI) 7. Understanding of NMS products for Orchestration, Alert, Incident, Problem, Capacity and Performance, Wifi, Security, and Flow Management. 8. Proven understanding of how operational workflow requirements can be translated into tooling methods and configurations. 9. Experience configuring large scale deployments of routers and switches in mission critical environments. 10. Experience with orchestration toolsets managing a variety of networking hardware vendors. 11. Understanding any of the specific FCAPS / Network Management Tools such as Cisco Crosswork / NSO, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco NDFC, Ansible Automation Platform, HP Network Automation, Forward Enterprise, Radware. 12. Understanding any of the specific infrastructure technologies (Linux Server Operating System -Redhat \\ Virtualization - VMware ESXi, Container and Orchestration Technology - Docker \\ OpenShift \\ Kubernetes) 13. Proven network infrastructure programmability experience via API 14. Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation 15. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 16. Ability to distill and present information to business community in non-technical terminology 17. Business analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions 18.
