Title :Senior Java Developer Client - Uline Bill Rate: $70/hr Location - Pleasant Prairie, WI (5 days at Onsite) 1: Title: DataStax/Cassandra DBA Position Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and deploying microservices using open-api, Spring Boot, and Java 8. Implementing and optimizing caching strategies using Apache Geode and in-memory caching techniques. Integrating with various external services and APIs to enable seamless data exchange. Working with XML, XSLT, and StAX parser to process and transform data. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Utilizing Maven for multi-project development and dependency management. Designing and implementing database solutions using DataStax (Cassandra) as a back-end database. Writing efficient and performant code while following best practices and coding standards. Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth application performance. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices. Requirements: Solid experience in Java development with a focus on Spring Boot and Java 8. Proficiency in open-api specification and RESTful API design principles. Strong understanding of caching concepts and experience with Apache Geode or similar caching frameworks. Experience with DataStax (Cassandra) or other NoSQL databases for building scalable and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Maven for project management and build automation. Familiarity with XML, XSLT, and StAX parser for data manipulation and transformation. Knowledge of microservices architecture and its implementation using Spring Boot. Familiarity with network drive integration for serving static resources. Understanding of layered architecture and best practices for building scalable and maintainable applications. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
