Job description: *EXCELLENT Communication skills are required. This is a TEAM, and they NEED someone who is excellent at communicating and working within a team setting. *The right person will have experience with Python AND Graph data virtualization- they are using STARDOG. *They should have Graph based knowledge and be able to dive in. *They need to be a strategic thinker have translated LARGE VOLUMES OF DATA- so working with *LARGE DATA SETS is KEY *The application they are working on is a web application called Digitized Cannon." *Also important is GraphQL/API side- this is building APIs from the ground up. Anyone with strong REST API design is fine- strong with API design and architecture- graph databases and knowledge graph- with Python and Go would be great. *An understanding of how to move data around and how to approach and process data- for validation and/or transforming the data and working with large data sets is also key. Core values: *Someone who is very interested in a team environment which is highly metrics. *Someone who can jump from the ground up and dive in and learn. Graph Database experience. *SPARQL query language experience (this isnt a must; they must be willing to learn) *Be a self-starter and communicate well and want to spend time communicating with the team. *Someone who has experience with Greenfield projects and inheriting projects can be helpful to this role.
