Job Description : Provide guidance to the Data Management team on best practices for data governance, integrity, and modeling, drawing from at least 5 years of proven experience in these areas. Design and implement data engineering solutions for the Agency, including selection and recommendation of data platforms, data modeling, and enterprise architecture development. Make decisions regarding configuration of data reporting environments, integration systems, and storage solutions, ensuring alignment with agency requirements. Monitor performance, tune indexes, configure standby servers, and implement log shipping and storage solutions to ensure high performanceand reliability of database systems. Collaborate with IT Architecture staff, Agency CIO, and IT Managers to design solutions that meet agency requirements and analyze business case implications. Recommend strategies and define tasks related to the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of database systems. Lead meetings and provide expertise on data integration with Enterprise and Agency data platforms, including Salesforce, StreamSets, Cloudera, Snowflake, and MS SQL systems. Work as a member of a team consisting of other Database Administrators, Data Engineers, and Business Intelligence staff to achieve project objectives.
