The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, automation testing, and expertise in API testing methodologies. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. Design, implement, and execute API test cases to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to test planning and strategy. Identify and prioritize test cases for automation, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency. Continuously improve and optimize existing automated test suites to enhance reliability and scalability. Investigate and troubleshoot issues, working closely with development teams to resolve defects in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality software deliverables. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation testing and API testing methodologies. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on automation and API testing techniques. Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing frameworks and tools to support automation initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in automation testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar. Strong proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development. Prior experience mentoring or coaching junior team members is a plus.
