Extensive expertise in Python, Groovy DSL, and SQL. AWS Certified Developer Associate certification is Mandatory. Hands-on experience with database technologies such as Postgres, AWS Aurora Postgres, Oracle, DB2, and MySQL.- Proficiency in working with AWS services, Informatica, ETL tools, FastAPI, Docker, DevOps, Jenkins, and Git repositories Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) and Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The Senior Data Engineer/ETL Developer will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing ETL solutions and data engineering applications using Python and AWS services. This role encompasses a hands-on technical aspect, collaborating closely with Enterprise Data Management and investment accounting teams to ensure the implementation of best practices in data processing and analytics. Proficiency in CI/CD, BMC Control-M, and cloud platforms (AWS) is crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with the software development team to architect, develop, and manage AWS-Python Data Engineering applications. - Utilize extensive experience working with large data sets to optimize and construct efficient data models and SQL queries to enhance performance. - Resolve complex software issues across multiple applications independently. - Thoroughly document own code and produce technical design documentation. - Independently or as part of a team, design, code, and test a range of application solutions. - Communicate and document the application architecture effectively and apply industry standards as part of a team - Convey information and make presentations to the team, management, and partners. - Demonstrate comprehension of various groups within the organization and how IT is utilized by each group. - Establish and maintain an effective working relationship between users and IT. - Provide mentorship to peers on application design and development.
