| Role: Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst Location: Remote Duration: Opening that is a 6-12-month contract to hire position. They are fully committed to converting this person after the contract period so any candidate presented must be willing/able to convert to an employee. Visa: Us Citizen or GC only. The main skill required is experience in requirements gathering and documentation for at least 3 years. Also requires experience with SNP (Special Needs Plans). (They offer a Senior Care Option (HMO D-SNP) which is a voluntary MassHealth (Medicaid) program in association with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.) Here is some detail around SNPs. Special Needs Plans (SNPs) are a type of Medicare Advantage (MA) plan that combine the benefits of Original Medicare (Parts A and B) with prescription drug coverage (Part D). There are 3 types of SNPs: Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs): For people who have both Medicare and Medicaid (called dual eligible) Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs): For people living with severe or disabling chronic conditions, such as neurological diseases or HIV/AIDS Institutional Special Needs Plans (I-SNPs): For people who live in a skilled nursing facility Job Description Were looking for a BSA with experience in requirements gathering, documentation within a Medicare/Medicaid health plan for at least 3 years. Requires strong communication skills. Fully remote. Will be working with the business so experience in claims, care management, or call center within a Healthplan as BA is good to have. Anyone who has been in a PMO as part of a Health Plan would be solid to consider. 6-12 month contract to start. Job Responsibilities: Understands business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific requirements Identifying areas for process improvement, and developing/ implementing solution Leading review and writing descriptions of business needs and business program functions, including creating process and data flow diagrams, workflow diagrams, test scripts, training curriculum, and quality assurance/audit procedures.
