Senior SAP Functional Consultant - Sales & Distribution

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid )

Rate: Negotiable

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Functional Consultant with over 10 years of experience in Sales & Distribution modules.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance on SAP SD processes, implementation, and optimization.

This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead SAP SD implementation projects from conception to completion, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Provide expert advice on best practices and industry standards related to Sales & Distribution processes within the SAP environment.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP solutions that meet their needs.

Configure and customize SAP SD modules to align with business processes and objectives.

Conduct thorough testing of SAP SD solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation to support the adoption of new SAP functionality.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP SD-related issues, working closely with technical teams to resolve complex problems.

Stay current with SAP updates, trends, and advancements in Sales & Distribution functionality, and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on Sales & Distribution modules.

In-depth knowledge of SAP SD processes, including order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and logistics.

Proven experience leading full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

SAP certification in Sales & Distribution (preferred).

Location and Work Environment:

This position is based in Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work mode allowing for both remote and onsite work as needed. The candidate should be willing to travel occasionally for project meetings and client engagements.
