KINDLY SHARE PROFILES TO [email protected] Position : Network Engineer Location : Boston, Massachusetts (Hybrid) Job Type : C2C (12+ Months) Job Description : We are searching for a Network Engineer consultant who can enhance network security and upgrade the existing infrastructure for a comprehensive and secure communication environment across 40 sites, supporting 50-60 endpoints. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain and improve the current network solutions with multiple remote sites to strengthen connectivity, business compliance, data security and privacy. Monitor, configure and maintain the overall IT network architecture including but not limited to, Firewall, Routers, switches, IDS/IPS, SSO, EDR, HIDS/HIPS, Secure messaging, and mobile device best practices. Must have a strong working knowledge of the FortiNet product lines including management, analysis, configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting. Must have a strong knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routing and switch products. Scale and improve network topology infrastructure including wired\\wireless routers, dynamic routing protocols (OSPF and BGP), NAC, MDM, ACLs, fabric switches and VMWare. Works directly with product owners, internal stakeholders, and vendors to troubleshoot and deploy new WAN and VPN configurations and or updates to existing connections to ensure application reliability and security best practices. Maintain network security policies, and standards, hardening best practices based on HIPPA, PCI, NIST and DSS. Collaborates with other team members to maintain optimum security posture by leveraging vulnerability tools, analysis to identify gaps, recommend and implement optimal solutions. Lead technical projects outcomes for net new and existing implementations. Participates in the formal incident response efforts for intrusions and exploits, incident investigations. Acts as an escalation point for engineering events for critical problem resolution. Mentors, trains new team members for expansion of technology competency. Responsible for engineering and supporting networking and security technologies. Ability to lead and execute large, complex projects. Must have direct experience with Cisco switches and routers. Educational Requirements: Associate's degree or substantially equivalent experience in the field with advance certification (MCSE, CNE, CCIP, ect.) 5+ years or more related relevant security and network engineering design or equivalent experience in health information management, firewall administration or other related work. Proven ability to communicate technical and business requirements effectively in written and oral formats. Ability to problem solve independently or within a group setting. 3+ years experience supporting network topology protocols, OSPF and BGP. Uses internal tools, ticket tracking system and project management software. Must be self-motivated, team oriented and able to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment with superior communication skills.
