Job Title: Oracle GoldenGate Consultant Client: Mindtree Location: Atlanta, GA (On-Site) Duration: Contract Job Description: Qualitifications 5+ years of experience working with GoldenGate 19c and 21c Microservices for Oracle DB. Experience working with both Classic Architecture and now moved into Microservices as the technology evolved. Experience in installing the product on Linux OS, configuring replication using the command line or the API, setting up monitoring using the OEM plugin, performing target discovery, and configuration alerting and notifications. Able to understand the architecture of the product including things like file and log locations, how to troubleshoot error messages and abends, and how to automate basic aspects of administration like integration of startup and shutdown into the OS boot sequences. Solid understanding of how to configure GoldenGate for high availability using Oracle's best practices. Experience in implementing and managing advanced configurations like remote capture, remote apply, and/or bidirectional replication with or without error detection and conflict resolution. Experience implementing a solution using these complex configurations both on-premise as well as in a cloud environment such as AWS. Additionally, such the resource has probably have worked at Oracle or a partner like BIAS as part of the product development team, or as an engineer dedicated to supporting the technology for years. What an "expert" like this brings to the table is the presumed ability to solve complex issues quickly without needing to engage the vendor, just based on their own vast experience with the product. Work with Oracle product team or support team for issue resolution via normal channels Responsibilities To be available on-site at a office location a minimum of 50% to facilitate transition Provide on-call support for both incidents and deployments (add new / change existing) Ability to handle any patching or updates to the GoldenGate instances both on-premise and on AWS EC2 Responsible for design, implementation and ongoing management of monitoring solution using Oracle Enterprise Manager and GoldenGate Plugins As needed the team will engage Oracle Premier Support or the Oracle Solution Support Center to open, work, track, and report on Service Requests (SRs) for any open issues To facilitate end-to-end testing of the high-availability solutions and be responsible for remediation of any resulting defects or issues There is no expectation that the resources will support technologies outside of Oracle GoldenGate 19c/21c and Oracle Enterprise Manager 13 for monitoring; database administration tasks are out of scope Integrated into the development team, will attend all stand ups and team meetings, and will be expected to function as an integrated part of the development team and adhere to normal US Central Time business hours Thanks & Regards Mani _______________________ Email: [email protected] || www.themesoft.com Keywords: database Georgia Oracle GoldenGate Consultant position in Atlanta, GA (On-Site) [email protected] |
