Position: Digital Engineer (Electrical Test Engineer) Location: On-site at Waukesha, WI Note: Electrical testing engineer to be heavily focused on troubleshooting circuit boards. The experience of analog circuit and mix signal debugging is required. Role Summary Description: This role will be responsible for the development and testing of digital control systems used within a Magnetic Resonance (MR) system. The candidate will leverage knowledge of digital design techniques and communication standards to ensure a quality product. This is not a remote position given the nature of lab work is expected for candidate to execute in person. Job Responsibilities Write detailed functional specifications that document newly created designs and support product introduction. Test and verify hardware to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, by recording and analyzing test data Model, build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with simulation Develop VHDL code to support FPGA-based designs; be proficient in simulating and debugging design in code and on circuit board Select hardware and material, assuring compliance with specifications and product requirements Propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline 2~3 years of experience Circuit board design and troubleshooting experience Must be able to work onsite at our Waukesha, WI location Preferred Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills.
