Job Title: SQL ETL Developer/ ETL Database developer

Total Estimated Assignment Hours: 6 months

City: NYC, NY (Remote - This is an offsite assignment; however, the Contractors technology resource(s) may be required to be onsite at the beginning and end of the project, and for on-demand meetings (onsite or online) as needs arise.)

Responsibilities:

DSNY is seeking the services of Contractor to work on an upgrade project related to the creation of a database that will store ClaimConnect data, internally.

Under this project, DSNY is seeking an experienced Contractor to design, implement, and execute a transactional database (LODI database) system with integrated ETL processes that stores supporting documents received from DSNYs ClaimConnect application.

The ETL processes will facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from the ClaimConnect application into the LODI database.

The LODI database will manage all the transactional data collected from the ClaimConnect application, provide informational support for DSNYs Medical Division and enable accessibility by core DSNY systems such as MIMS and DSNYs Alfresco Enterprise Content Manager system, and enable the ability to create queries and reporting of the data.

At a high level, the summary of work includes, but is not limited to:

Creating a system workflow that will run periodically (e.g., every 4 hours) to pull all the data related to transactions and supporting documents from ClaimConnect and download it to system.

Downloaded data would be then processed by Contractor-developed ETL to load Contractor-developed LODI database, and existing MIMS Alfresco databases.

Loading of LODI databases are to include links to DSNY supporting data in MIMS.

On-time loading of all the previously downloaded ClaimConnect related transactional LODI data into LODI database. ClaimConnect supporting documents shall be imported into DSNY Alfresco Enterprise Content Manager.

Processing data by a Contractor-developed ETL to load LODI database.

Required Skills:

3+ years of demonstrated experience in ETL software development.

4+ years of development experience with SQL data access principles (SQL Server, Postgres, and Aurora).

4+ years of Java development experience.

4+ years of development experience with Hyland Alfresco (including Lucene search, amp extension, and Alfresco SDK).

4+ years of experience in database design for Postgres and other non-SQL products.

5+ years of experience with software development methodology, including the design, development, testing, and implementation of applications.
