Role 1 - SAP IBP

Must have 10+ Yrs of experience leading SAP IBP Implementations with Lifesciences/Pharma industry exposure

SAP IBP Expertise: A strong understanding of SAP IBP modules, especially Demand Planning and Supply Planning, is essential. This includes configuration, customization, and implementation experience with IBP functionalities such as demand sensing, statistical forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain planning.

Supply Chain and Planning Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, demand forecasting techniques, inventory management, procurement, production planning, and logistics. Experience in applying these concepts within SAP IBP to optimize supply chain operations and improve forecasting accuracy.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP tools and technologies related to IBP, such as SAP HANA, SAP EHANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Fiori, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems. Knowledge of data modeling, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes is also beneficial.

Business Process Understanding: Familiarity with industry-specific supply chain processes and best practices. Ability to analyze business requirements, design effective planning solutions in SAP IBP, and align them with organizational goals and strategies.

Project Management: Experience in leading SAP IBP implementation projects or participating in large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives. Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and issue resolution.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external partners. Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa. Collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment and drive consensus on planning strategies and solutions.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify supply chain challenges, analyze data trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend optimization strategies using SAP IBP functionalities and tools.

Continuous Learning: A mindset of continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends, features, and best practices in SAP IBP and supply chain management. Willingness to acquire new skills, certifications, and knowledge to enhance expertise in the field.

Certifications: Relevant SAP certifications in IBP, such as SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP IBP, can be advantageous and demonstrate proficiency in SAP IBP Demand Planning and Supply Planning.

Industry Experience: Life Sciences / Pharma experience in supply chain processes, challenges, and regulations can be beneficial for understanding business requirements and designing effective SAP IBP solutions.

Role 2 - SAP Cutover and Testing Lead

Experience: Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in leading SAP release management, preferably within the Lifesciences/Pharma industry.

Deployment Workplan Ownership: Develop and take ownership of the comprehensive Deployment workplan, detailing deliverables and activities for the Deployment workstream.

Deployment Strategy Documentation: Create documentation outlining the overall Deployment/Cutover strategy for projects or programs to guide implementation efforts.

Cutover Plan Development: Collaborate with project and program workstreams to devise detailed cutover plans, encompassing technical and functional steps for execution during the deployment phase.

Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify risks, cross-application dependencies, and downstream impacts associated with each release, and lead mitigation efforts to ensure smooth deployments.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of cutover team members throughout the preparation and execution phases, ensuring coordination and alignment with project objectives.

Deployment Planning Coordination: Coordinate deployment planning activities with IT, business, and third-party teams to streamline deployment processes and minimize disruptions.

Go-Live Readiness and Approval: Define go-live readiness criteria, share them with key stakeholders, and obtain necessary approvals to ensure readiness for production cutover.

Mock Cutover Planning: Plan and conduct mock cutover exercises to prepare teams for the final production cutover, addressing any issues proactively.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate the overall Deployment plan effectively with senior stakeholders such as program management, business unit leads, and MPLs/IT Leaders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Scope and Schedule Management: Manage the scope and schedule of cutover activities, including risk management and preparation of mitigation plans, to ensure on-time delivery

Contingency Planning: Provide detailed backout options for severe contingencies during the cutover process, ensuring minimal impact on operations.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with IT processes, including proper documentation and obtaining approvals for requisite changes through the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process.

Issue Escalation: Escalate issues to IT leadership promptly when necessary, facilitating quick resolution and minimizing project delays.

Testing Strategy Development: Develop testing strategies and various forms of test plans (e.g., System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, regression testing) to validate SAP release functionality.

Testing Coordination: Coordinate with Testing Centers of Excellence (COEs), Project Management Office (PMO), Business, and IT teams to manage and oversee testing phases effectively, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Test Execution Monitoring: Assign test scenarios/cases to resources for timely execution, monitor test case execution and defect management, and collaborate with stakeholders to triage defects and ensure effective resolution.

Reporting and Governance: Manage and report Testing and cutover statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, governing the distribution of manual and automation testing efforts across releases to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Role 3 - SAP Manufacturing Functional SME

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an SAP Manufacturing Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a focus on the Pharma industry.

SAP Manufacturing Modules Expertise: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Manufacturing modules, including but not limited to Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM).

PLM Processes: Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes within SAP, covering areas such as product data management, engineering change management, recipe and formula management, and compliance management for pharmaceutical products.

Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Integration: Experience in integrating SAP Manufacturing modules with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to streamline production operations, track real-time production data, and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Internal and External Manufacturing: Proven track record of dealing with both internal manufacturing processes within pharmaceutical companies and external manufacturing through Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). Experience in synchronizing manufacturing processes, quality control measures, and regulatory compliance across internal and external manufacturing sites.

CMO Collaboration: Demonstrated expertise in collaborating with CMOs for manufacturing activities, including process synchronization, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and performance monitoring to ensure seamless operations and product quality.

Packaging Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Primary and Secondary Packaging processes specific to the pharmaceutical sector, including packaging line management, serialization, labeling requirements, batch tracking, and adherence to regulatory standards such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and serialization requirements (e.g., DSCSA).

Regulatory Compliance: Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to manufacturing operations in the Pharma sector, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, EMA guidelines, and serialization mandates.

Business Process Analysis: Ability to analyze complex manufacturing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend SAP solutions to optimize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance while ensuring seamless integration with PLM processes.

Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-implementation support for SAP Manufacturing implementations, enhancements, and PLM integrations.

Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external partners. Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure alignment between business objectives, SAP Manufacturing solutions, and PLM processes.

Continuous Learning: Proactive approach to staying updated with the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in SAP Manufacturing, PLM, and the Pharma industry. Willingness to acquire new skills, certifications, and knowledge to enhance expertise in SAP Manufacturing modules and PLM processes for pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

Role 4 - SAP Data Migration Specialist

Experience: Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience leading SAP material master and data migrations, preferably within the Lifesciences/Pharma industry.

End-to-End Data Migration Projects: Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end SAP data migration projects, including greenfield, brownfield, or System Data Transition (SDT) migrations, with a comprehensive understanding of SAP modules and associated data migration tools.

Data Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data transferred from legacy systems to SAP platforms during migration projects.

ETL Tools Proficiency: Proficient in SAP Data Services, Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit (LTMC), and other third-party Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools for data mapping, transformation, and validation.

Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management, with experience using tools such as MS Project to manage data migration projects effectively.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders involved in data migration projects.

Data Quality Assurance: Experience in data quality assurance and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.

Data Protection and Privacy: Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations, with experience in data masking and data scrambling techniques during data migration to ensure compliance.

Certifications: Possess certifications in SAP modules or data migration tools to demonstrate expertise and proficiency in data migration processes.

Strategy and Architecture: Define data migration strategy, architecture, and conversion test cycles to guide the migration process and ensure successful outcomes.
