HA/DR Setup including logical, physical standby Description: This is for a PostgreSQL database administrator with solid experience to assist with establishing and documenting: Best practices Automated installs Security Monitoring Backup and recovery procedures HA/DR configurations TOP THINGS: Knowledge of PostgreSQL and RedHat RHEL 8.x Good verbal and written communication. HA/DR Setup including logical, physical standby Migration from Oracle/SQL Server to PostgreSQL Demonstrate consistent and independent ability to manage projects and the workload. Manage work according to criteria of costs, scheduling, and functional and technical performance. Maintain open and honest communications with clients, teammates and management for purposes of providing ongoing, timely status reporting. Communicate status, issues and concerns in both written and oral formats. Provide proper documentation for knowledge sharing and transition. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to adhere to company policies and compliance standards. Experience with PostgreSQL monitoring and performance tuning tools. Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
