Role: Performance Tester Location: McLean, VA (Day 1 Onsite) Duration: 12+ months Max Rate: $55/hr. on C2C Job Description: 7+ years of performance testing and engineering experience using either of industry leading performance testing tools i.e., JMeter/LoadRunner Understand business use cases, internal/external performance benchmarks, debugging performance issues, decision making on issues, technical assistance in performance analysis. Responsible for developing and executing formal Performance test plans, designing, implementing, supporting performance testing systems and strategies to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Leads discussion on test planning, Developing test scripts, Performance test execution and analysis of Performance test results. In depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk, and understand varied deployments. Influences and communicates effectively with non-technical audiences including product and business management. Must have hand-on experience in at-least one of APM Tools AppDynamics/ Dynatrace/ Splunk Experience in testing of Web services (XML/REST/SOAP) Experience in Performance testing of HealthCare Products/Applications Experience in API, UI and Batch Performance Testing Good understanding of end-to-end configuration, interfaces, technical dependencies, code path, and overall behavioral characteristics of the APIs/Services Knowledge on monitoring and troubleshooting applications hosted in LINUX, UNIX What are the top 3 Must Haves for this role 1. 7+ years of performance testing and engineering experience using either of industry leading performance testing tools i.e., JMeter/LoadRunner. --Experience in Performance testing of HealthCare Products/Applications 2.
