Kindly go through the below mentioned job description Pass me local to NY/NJ/PA Role: Big Data Engineer/Lead Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: Long term contract ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES As a Big Data Engineer, you will: Must have 12+Years Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and anomaly detection models which process huge volumes of trading and trade related data. Be instrumental in o Providing technical direction to leverage the most relevant technologies for the different business use cases. o Work towards adapting of the most optimal technologies as well as improving the adoption of the latest technologies across engineering teams. o Driving Quality: implementing processes and procedures to maximize the overall quality of software Develop an understanding of evolving regulatory frameworks & leverage cutting edge technologies to manage firm regulatory and reputational risk Develop and drive the institutionalization of best practices around coding, testing scalability, stability and quality, code reviews and operational readiness across the teams Collaboration with Local & Global teams allowing for technical discussions, decision making, driving standard code architecture and identifying potential blockers at an early stage Have an opportunity to work on a broad range of problems, including negotiating data contracts and capturing data quality metrics Technical Skills and Qualifications; MBA or Bachelor/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study. 4+ years experience in software development Experience in developing and designing end-to-end solutions to enterprise standards including automated testing and SDLC. Ability (and tenacity) to clearly express ideas and arguments in meetings and on paper. Good Programming and problem-solving skills. Must Have: Java or any other object-oriented programming language and Database skills like Oracle/SQL.
