Job Title: SDET (Automation Developer) Location: Charlotte, NC Client: Charter Communications/ Telus International Visa: GC/ USC only Job Description: A quality assurance analyst creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched. They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them. They also must to pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement. A normal work day for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance analysts will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program. Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected. 10+ years of experience. Responsibilities : Solid understanding of core Java concepts and programming Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns Solid understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS Years of hands-on experience in following automation tools: Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD/Gherkins along with framework development experience Years of hands-on experience in Maven, GitHub, Jenkins Years of hands-on experience in programming editors IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ Solid understanding of how to test interfaces and web services (REST & SOAP) for integrated systems Years of Experience in testing with testing tools JMeter & Gatling, preferably with APis Proficient in various operating system environments such as Windows, Unix, Linux Solid understanding of DB and Strong SQL experience Positive Thinking is most important.
