| Role: Communications Lead Experience : 10+ years Location : Denver, CO Day1 onsite Role Description : The Communications Lead role ensures the Cloud Platform Team, IT at large, and the Business receive current, accurate, and timely information concerning the Cloud Efficiency initiative. This role is required for developing the key messaging strategy that will help everyone understand the value and purpose of the initiative. This role is responsible for developing and executing the communication strategy and plan and for communicating the appropriate information to respective teams and leadership at the right time as defined in the Communications Plan. Responsibilities Help create and maintain the Communications Strategy and Plan o Create and distribute standards, guidelines, and timelines for reporting program status, upcoming deliverables, statistics, issues, risks, roadblocks, and other needed information. o For each type of communication required, identify: Information to be communicated. the source(s) of the information, the frequency of data collection and corresponding communication in which the data will be used, time sensitive information and project related deadlines, the audience receiving the communication, the frequency and delivery method for each communication. o For each type of reporting required, identify: the data/results to be reported, and KPIs and metrics required for inclusion (e.g., performance, capacity, processing, log output, and other data relative to infrastructure, system, application, and security), the source(s) of data and information being collected, the frequency of data collection and corresponding communication in which the data will be used, the audience receiving the report results, the frequency and delivery method for each report. o Identify escalation communications paths, as needed. Develop messaging behind the cloud strategy and where the organization is going. Implement the Communications Plan o Write clear, concise, timely, and accurate project communications, o Generate accurate and meaningful reports with clear and precise data definition, o Deliver the communications and reports to appropriate project participants and stakeholders per the Communications Plan standards and schedule. Skills :: Excellent written and verbal communications skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including executive management. Prior experience in communications and report management for large scale initiatives Clear understanding of statistical reports, metrics, and KPIs Demonstrate strong judgment, independent thinking, and creative approach to overcome obstacles.
