Title: Systems Analyst/Engineer 3 Location: Remote Duration: Long Term (12months) Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system. Be responsible for understanding the environment and deployment needs of the business. Help with access control and vulnerability management, as well as monitoring and maintaining system security. Keep abreast of current standards, best practices, and trends of DevOps. Years Required/Preferred Experience Candiate Exp 8 Required Works closely with internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects. 8 Required Participates in after-hours task and deployments on a periodic basis to resolve critical nightly procedures. 8 Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8 Required Familiarity with administering software across two of the following tool types: reporting, batch scheduling, test implementation and tracking, postal address resolution, and fuzzy name matching 8 Required Ability to assume administration duties for unfamiliar tools software. 8 Required Collaborate with server support teams and data center vendors to schedule outage windows for server and tools maintenance, following established agency change management procedures. 8 Required Supporting DevOps functions to best utilize cloud resources with software configuration management and continuous integration tools. 8 Required System Analyst adept in multi-platform environments.
