Primary Responsibilities: Business Analysts (BAs) who are versed in group policies for Office 365 (O365) are professionals who specialize in understanding and managing the policies and settings that govern how O365 applications and services are used within an organization. Group policies in the context of O365 are a set of rules and configurations that can be applied to groups of users or devices to control and manage their access to O365 features, security settings, and other functionalities. Here are some key areas where such BAs might focus their expertise: Security and Compliance: BAs with this specialization can help ensure that the organization's O365 deployment adheres to security standards and compliance requirements. They can configure policies related to data protection, encryption, access controls, and auditing. User and Group Management: They can manage user accounts and groups, including setting up permissions and access levels for different users or teams. This helps in ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to specific O365 applications and data.
