Candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with SQL mainly but also with strong communication and business facing skills!! Candidate must have minimum 9 years of experience or more!! Job Title: Senior Technical Business Analyst Location: Owings Mills MD, Candidate must work onsite 2 days a week at Owings Mills location (Every week Tuesday and Wednesday (4515 Painters Mill Road Owings Mills MD 21117) ***Local candidates will be given the first preference*** Manager notes Candidates must have strong business facing AND technical acumen and taking initiatives. Looking for an independent worker only!! We will not train the candidate Definitely need strong SQL skills, someone who can work with the databases. If someone has exposure to tableau or MicroStrategy or other dashboards that would be helpful, it is a nice to have but will definitely be given the first preference Need strong communication, initiative taking- not someone who is going to sit back and wait for tasks Would be nice if theyve worked in the finance industry- because of the type of work your team does, would be a nice to have Project: more just team supplements, lot of enhancement work- manager has 3 agile teams, so work could be in any of those agile teams. No specific projects, just enhancements- could be on servicenow, database side, or dashboardsexpecting someone to pivot quickly and with a strong enough technical grasp to understand various projects They use servicenow, but not expected to build anything, but should be able to use the tool. UI/workflow design is nice but not required Job Description In this role, you will act as the main interface between technology and a specific business/functional area to help identify business solutions, define business requirements, build application and process specifications, coordinate with engineers, and ensure that work is prioritized by business value and in alignment with the overarching business and technical strategies. You may be involved in the writing of technical materials/documentation. The BA will also be responsible for Quality Assurance and validation. The environment is Agile so BA will be responsible for driving to get the work ready for delivery sprints.
