These results are powered by our select group of technical leadership - our Principal Consultants. As a backend developer, you will have the opportunity to design, build, test, maintain, and have a direct and meaningful impact on the roadmap of a major retailer's technology platform. You will be responsible for design and development of backend components of highly scalable eCommerce web and Merchandizing applications. Position Overview: Our team is looking for a Senior Golang developer with extensive experience in Golang and some experience with Java. This Golang professional must be comfortable working independently but always willing to mentor less experienced Golang developers on the team. Experience with high throughput, distributed multi-region applications and databases Experience with modern libraries and tooling Strong expertise in Go language Significant Microservices architecture and development skills Significant Cloud expertise (preferably Azure/Kubernetes) Significant knowledge of SQL Database and NoSQL Databases (Yugabytes, Cosmos, Postgres, Cassandra, etc.) Significant experience in messaging architecture & development - Kafka preferred.
