| Job Title: SAP SM/FSM Functional consultant Location: Carlsbad, CA/Remote Job Type: Contract(Long-Term) Job Description: We are seeking a proficient SAP SM/FSM (Service Management/Field Service Management) Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SM/FSM solutions to streamline service management processes and enhance field service operations. This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, designing efficient solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure the effective utilization of SAP SM/FSM modules. Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SM/FSM solution designs, considering best practices and industry standards. Configure SAP SM/FSM modules according to business needs, including service contracts, service orders, resource scheduling, and mobile solutions for field technicians. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and provide expert guidance on SAP SM/FSM functionalities and capabilities. Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate the functionality and reliability of SAP SM/FSM implementations. Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective adoption and utilization of SAP SM/FSM functionalities across the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SM/FSM configurations, processes, and integrations with other SAP modules or third-party systems. Work closely with technical teams for custom development, enhancements, and system integrations related to SAP SM/FSM modules. Stay updated with SAP SM/FSM industry trends, new features, and emerging technologies to recommend continuous improvements and optimizations. Document SAP SM/FSM configurations, processes, and user guides for knowledge sharing and reference purposes. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of SAP SM/FSM projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ yeras working as an SAP SM/FSM Functional Consultant or in a similar role. Service Management module in SAP S4/HANA experience. Experience in Support of Service contracts and supplier contracts. Experience in support of service repair activity. In-depth knowledge of SAP SM/FSM modules, including Service Management, Field Service Management, and related components. Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly in service management and field service domains. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP SM/FSM solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Experience in conducting workshops, training sessions, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences. SAP certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA Service) is a plus. Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Mobile Solutions, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for field service applications is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
