| From: Prakash Singh, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Senior ADAS Engineer or HMI Concept Designer City: San Jose California-Hybrid Remote position (50% remote, 50% in office) Duration: 6+month Role Summary: The role is to support the engineering development of HMI design portion of ADAS function for series production, which is focused on creating innovative solutions for assisted as well as piloted driving functions. Develops high level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Role Responsibilities: HMI UI_UX Design (70%) - Creates innovative solutions for assisted as well as piloted driving functions - Generates the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences - Quickly iterates on multiple interactive design solutions considering user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings - Develops high level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas - Delivers work thats not only user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, but which also produces results. Project Management (30%) - Works alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle. - Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics. - Develops and maintains detailed user-interface specifications. - Presents design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback. - Contributes to the groups shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies test catalogue based on the design document Required: 5+ years of experience with HMI concept designer for UI_UX Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Science Proven experience with generating the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences. Quickly iterates on multiple interactive design solutions considering user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings Delivers work that is not only user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, but which also produces results. Desired: Masters or PhD in in Engineering/Science Knowledge of ADAS/AD features Experience with in-vehicle HMI feature Experience with working in cross-functional environment.
