| Position: Lead Data Engineer Location: Remote Experience: 10+ years Visa: EAD GC USC, TN (No H1B) Duration: Long term contract Position Overview: As the Lead Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our data infrastructure to support our growing data needs. You will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers to develop scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensure data quality and governance, and provide insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, expertise in Snowflake, AWS, SQL, Autosys, Data Governance, and Tableau, and a passion for solving complex data challenges. Skillset: Snowflake AWS SQL Autosys Data Governance Tableau Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, and SQL technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define data architecture and solutions that meet business needs. Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support in executing projects and driving innovation. Work closely with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver insights using Tableau or similar visualization tools. Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability, and implement automation wherever possible. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in a lead data engineering role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex data projects. Expertise in Snowflake, AWS (particularly S3, EC2, Glue, Redshift), SQL, and data modeling concepts. Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools such as Autosys or similar. Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
