UID: 3b526232207e48c1b6d16fd1ff65d6d9 From: soumyaranjan mallick, vyze inc smallick@vyzeinc.com Reply to: smallick@vyzeinc.com Position: Sr. Embedded Kubernetes Architect Location: Hybrid Ashburn, VA 1 - 2 days per week Duration: Long Term MOI: 2 Round Video Job Qualifications & Competencies - Dedicated, embedded, on-site Mirantis Engineer - Resident hands-on engineer with deep technical skills, multi-certified in kubernetes, and DevOps savvy - Expert on the Mirantis product stack and features coming in short, medium, and long-term releases - Proactive liaison with Mirantis global support organization to escalate support cases, identify root cause, facilitate rapid RCA, and help identify best remediation options - Identify new and upcoming features from Mirantis product road map AND upstream kubernetes community that would be relevant for Visa MKE platform stability and performance - Configure, evaluate, verify upstream kubernetes updates on Visa QA environment, and provide feedback to Mirantis Product teams to prioritize for Visa in short term new releases / updates - Facilitate deep technical discussions with Visa SMEs , Mirantis Product engineering, TAM, global support leadership, and Account Team - Collaborate with Visa engineering leaders to build out much needed Mirantis MKE / MCC platform Center of Excellence - Provide on-going architecture recommendations, risk analysis, and oversee Mirantis platform / product upgrades - Test Mirantis product fixes and patches (on ONI QA cluster) at load for performance and completeness - Help maintain a Mirantis owned/operated scaled-down Visa like environment to further test and verify patches - Recommend critical Mirantis training curriculum needed (online and/or in person classroom based) for specific ONI team members - Ashburn location, combo on-site / virtual possible (background check and cluster access required) Job Description: Kubernetes Architect Our client is looking for a Docker/Kubernetes expert that will be consulting on large scale Kubernetes projects for their enterprise clients in the financial services space. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) being a hands-on engineer, configuring, platform stability and performance, facilitating rapid RCA, risk analysis, and testing fixes / patches. The ideal candidate will have consultancy experience with Docker MSR product lines and experience standing up Kubernetes environments from scratch for enterprise level organizations.
