| From: Dushyanth, Siriinfo [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi Hiring for Devops at Austin, TX Must have skills Strong expertise in Jenkins, creating pipeline, groovy scripts Strong expertise in at least one of linux packaging ecosystems - specifically, Debian, RPM, APT, YUM in one or more Linux distributions/Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE Linux Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE Linux Strong expertise in Git Strong expertise in managing at least one of these ecosystems Gerrit or Github or Github Strong expertise in all of these build automation/ orchestration frameworks: Jenkins and Ansi ble Strong expertise in all of DevOps tool chains: Python, Groovy, Bash, CMake, GNU Make Strong expertise in all of container frameworks: Docker, Docker compose Practical exposure to atleast one of test automation frameworks: Google Test, Python Unittest, Junit, Nunit, Robotframework Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, analysis of bottleneck problems Good understanding of networking fundamentals - DHCP, DNS, PXE, VLANs, Virtualization networking Exposure to Virtualization technologies QEMU, KVM or VirtualBox is a definite plus Exposure to Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, Salt Stack is a definite plus Active participation in open source projects is a definite plus Core Responsibilities: Build and package software for Linux ecosystems Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines for integration of software components in diverse environments. Work with development teams to implement strong branching and code promotion strategies Troubleshoot, profile existing/ new implementations for improvements.
