Position: System Engineer Vacaville, CA (Hybrid x3Days in a week onsite) Only USC AND GC Location: Vacaville, CA (Hybrid x3Days in a week onsite) Only USC AND GC Duration:6+ Month Job description: Must be US Citizen/Green Card and local to Vacaville or Bay Area Minimum of 10 years of experience with both windows and LINUX. Various storage systems NetAPP, VMWare, Blade Serve support basic understanding of networking, SAN support Provide the engineering and support services for the site Follow Quality Systems and Processes to maintain systems in a validated GMP state Participate and lead system audits (internal & external Government agencies) Actively work to identify and close any compliance gaps, identify and implement remediation activities in a timely manner. Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills both internal and external Excellent communication skills including experience creating and maintaining system lifecycle and support documents. Support 24x7 site operations with off shift support on a rotating basis and occasional on-site support during night. Exceptional skills, strong knowledge and experience in the following: Hardware/server support, maintenance and upgrade Windows Server administration including management of Domains, Active Directory and Group Policies Blade servers and virtualized server environments including VMWare Storage devices (SAN & NAS) Networking fundamentals Scripting to automate routine systems administration tasks Ability to develop innovations that solve difficult technical problems Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing), influence and lead both with and without authority, as well as strong analytical skills, planning and organizational skills Be able to identify problems, define problem statement clearly and accurately and apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify data-driven root causes. Capable of working independently, effective at managing multiple tasks and projects, flexible and able to adapt quickly to new and changing situations Access Audits Interface with other user groups to trouble shoots Main point of contact for UPEs System access requests Major participant on IT/OT projects.
