Location: Jamaica, NY All but no H1B/CPT Remarks : hybrid 50/50, complete onsite one week per month strongly preferred, Local to Jamacia Queens/Long Island/NYC, Not commutable from NJ. Description: Critical Key requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards Preferable 2-3 years working experience with Railroad business Minimum of 7 years in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, RLS Minimum of 5 years in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferrable Oracle and SQL Server Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certified preferred. QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist, with strong proficiency in Power BI. Solid experience in SQL and working with relational databases. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect large amounts of data. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex information. Experience in the transportation especially in railroad industry is a plus. 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards 7+ years in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, RLS 5+ years in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferrable Oracle and SQL Server Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certified preferred. Experience of UX (user experience) design and tools Minimum of 1 year Python experience. Good communication skills to translate business requirements into Dashboards and Reporting Proficient in MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Experience in desktop / mobile computer support and troubleshooting software related problems. Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skill in relating technical information to non-technical personnel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment. Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, a self-starter.
