This position may require 5% travel. Hands on experience in any Chaos Tools - Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, Chaos Toolkit,Litmus Preferred years of work experience in IT industry, Expert knowledge in hardware, software, and distributed applications environments and solid understanding of their associated capacity and performance indicators, Good experience in analyze complex problems in the application space relating to resilience Able to gather Chaos engg requirements, Guide the team and customer in requirement discovery, Able to come up with requirements Understanding of applications/architectures like queue systems, different types of integrations, different H/W and S/W components Ability to perform chaos testing on a distributed system in order to build confidence in the system's capability to withstand turbulent conditions in production Experience in developing automated chaos testing in pre-production systems Partner with development to identify anti-patterns and create fallback experiences to critical scenarios Hands on experience in Unix/Linux OS environments and operating system internals, file systems, disk/storage and networking protocols. Having working knowledge with VMs and Containers. Knowledge in programming languages like Java/Python and scripting languages. Understand systems environments like shared resources, components, and services, CPU, memory, storage, network, and soft resources.
