| Role: Salesforce Marketing Cloud BA Consultant (SFMC BA) Job Location:- New York, NY (Day 1 Onsite) 5 Days in Client office Mandatory Duration: 12 + Months Account:- Banking Note from the Tech Panel:- kindly validate their experience is in Marketing Cloud Consulting not looking at a pure Technical Lead / Architect for the onsite role. This is a customer facing role so should have really strong experience working closely with customers, collecting and documenting requirements and working with offshore teams. Important Points while Screening/Sourcing the profile this person in US is going to be a very key role, working closely with the Banking business and IT stakeholders so he / she should have: Excellent communication skills Experience having led new customer implementations in SFMC (at least 3+) with at least one cross-cloud implementation experience (with Sales / Service Cloud) Work closely with business stakeholders, become their our financial client - assess current processes, ask appropriate questions, gather and document customer requirements that would be required for implementation Sound knowledge of the SFMC platform so that he / she can help answer customers queries about the platform, and show how their requirements shall map to the product features, explain any gaps that occur as part of the system constraints, and help negotiate with the customers on acceptable work-arounds Communicate customer expectations, requirements and process details with other project team members (US and offshore) brainstorm with them on any ideas that need to be considered for discovery and design and act as the liaison between other teams and the customer Help with documentation user stories, prioritization and coming up with a recommended implementation plan for the customer (single / multi-phase) that shall follow the discovery phase When you go through resumes, please validate if the candidate can do the above tasks in this project given that this is a high visibility project (Paras and Krishna are in the loop as well) we need to really get a top-notch candidate for the onsite positions this person will be working with the CIO and his leadership team in the US as well. This project also serves as the foundation for more work that may come our way in the future months from Banking which is why we want to get this right in the first attempt. The ideal candidate would have a good blend of expertise on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Business Analysis skills and experience leading a few implementations for customers we will have a Technical Architect at offshore, so we don't expect the onsite person to be a fully Technical Architect level candidate but should have proficiency to talk about the platform and implementations in customer workshops and meetings. One point to note there is a certification called Marketing Cloud Consultant so many of the folks working in Salesforce Marketing stream take this even when they are on the Technical side (as there is no separate Architect certification). Hence if you simply screen by this tag, you will end up getting technical profiles than proper consultant. It's important to read through the project experience and see if they have truly done customer implementations from a consultant angle, as per the responsibilities I have mentioned above. You could even look for senior SFMC BA profiles who have similar experience. Responsibilities: The role responsibilities of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant include: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for marketing campaigns, automation workflows, and data integration needs. Designing solutions and recommending best practices to meet business objectives using Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder.
