[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Kokomo, IN Duration : 12+ Months Visa: All Visa Job Description: As a Network Engineer at Samsung SDSA, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our enterprise network. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities including solution design, technical support, project management, and maintaining high network availability in a 24x7 environment. You'll be at the forefront of technological advancements in a critical manufacturing setting. Responsibilities: Manage the entire network lifecycle from design to troubleshooting. Implement and support a variety of critical network devices including Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, and access points. Handle system requests/tickets, from planning to resolution, ensuring excellent customer service. Lead infrastructure projects such as expansions, upgrades, and replacements. Monitor network performance, escalate issues, and ensure timely resolution. Conduct network audits and implement necessary corrections. Provide guidance and support to junior engineers in complex troubleshooting scenarios. Review and approve network procedures to ensure technical accuracy. Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when necessary. Collaborate with vendors and ISPs for issue resolution and maintenance. Adhere to standard operating procedures and security policies. Assist with internal tasks such as inventory management and documentation. Requirements: Associate's degree in computer science or related field. 4+ years of experience supporting and designing large enterprise networks. Proficiency in network protocols and technologies including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VPC, and more. Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks effectively. Capability to lift equipment up to 40lbs. Willingness to use cleanroom gear and PPE in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems.
