| Job Title: Azure Cloud DevOps (SRE) Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite from Day 1) Note: Candidates must possess the ability to work onsite from day one in Pleasanton, CA. The rate offered is $55/hr. on C2C maximum, with no flexibility beyond this rate. Additionally, candidates should be prepared for 24x7 on-call support and must have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Role Overview: The Senior DevOps (SRE) role involves providing 24x7 on-call support, setting up monitoring dashboards, collaborating with the DevOps team on launch readiness, and post-launch activities. This includes limited market release and full market release activities both within the US and internationally. The role demands excellent communication skills and extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly Azure Cloud and Azure Cloud Resources. Key Responsibilities: Provide 24x7 on-call support, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems. Collaborate with the DevOps team to set up monitoring dashboards and ensure launch readiness. Handle post-launch activities, including troubleshooting, incident management, and performance tuning. Work on cloud migration projects, particularly on-premises to cloud migrations. Utilize deep system knowledge for debugging applications, operating systems, and databases. Utilize Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and DevOps pipelines for infrastructure management and automation. Develop and maintain scripts to support DevOps team automation. Implement and configure various technologies, such as Grafana or Kubernetes, based on documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Create and maintain documentation, including runbooks and system configurations. Ensure regular and predictable attendance, adhering to project timelines and commitments. Skills Required: 8+ years of overall experience in IT, with a focus on DevOps and SRE responsibilities. Extensive experience (7-10 years) in cloud migration, preferably from on-premises to cloud environments. Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Cloud Resources. Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including compute, networking, and storage. Experience with production troubleshooting and incident management (minimum 2 years). Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and DevOps pipelines (minimum 2 years). Proficient scripting skills to support DevOps automation (minimum 2 years). Experience in performance tuning around Java applications and databases. Familiarity with configuration management tools and technologies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Exposure to JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
