From: Priyanka, STELLENT IT [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] IGA Application Administrator/ IAM Consultant with Shibboleth 100% Remote Contract Exp: 13+ Job Description The Application Administrator II works within the Identity Governance and Administration team on installation, integration, testing, documentation, monitoring, and maintenance of assigned systems within Identity Governance and Administration. The administrator will be responsible for the technical aspects of identity and access management and will require participation in project-oriented work. The position provides the opportunity to participate in multiple areas of IT infrastructure to develop and implement access management solutions. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, have a good understanding of security policies, processes, and can achieve results while maintaining a high velocity of activity across the IGA program. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Installation and Configuration: Install and configure the Shibboleth software on relevant servers. Set up and maintain the necessary infrastructure for identity provider (IdP) and service provider (SP) configurations. Identity Provider Management: Configure and manage the Identity Provider, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information about users. Handle attribute release policies and manage user attributes. Service Provider Integration: Integrate service providers to work with the Shibboleth IdP. Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place for service providers. Security Management: Implement and maintain security best practices for Shibboleth, including SSL/TLS certificate management. Monitor and respond to security vulnerabilities, applying patches and updates promptly. User Authentication and Authorization: Oversee the authentication and authorization processes to ensure secure and appropriate access to protected resources. Logging and Auditing: Set up logging mechanisms to monitor and audit authentication and authorization events. Regularly review logs for security incidents and performance monitoring. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for users encountering authentication or authorization issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Shibboleth configuration and integration. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for Shibboleth configurations, policies, and procedures. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
