Role: ColdFusion Architect with Java Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: HBITS-05-13358 Client: NY State Respond by Date: 04/08/24 5:00 PM Description The Unified Information System (UIS) is a Software application written in support of DEC Division of Remediation's critical tasks. The UIS system is during re-platforming to approved technology at the NYS Data centre, which includes database, O/S updates as well as removing dependency on DEC Novell for authentication. Also, a series of Cold Fusion upgrades is underway to ensure that UIS application stays up to date and avoids serious vulnerabilities present in the current version. Additionally, a planned interface with SFS and several business enhancement requests are in need of a expert resource. Day to day tasks include defect resolution and customer support. Duties The consultant will be performing Cold Fusion development tasks including: Manage, plan, design, and implement enhancements to the current UIS system. Cold Fusion Administration and configuration. SQL/Stored procedure development. Analysis and design of new features. Crystal Reports Server administration. Coding in Cold Fusion. Addressing defect and security vulnerabilities. Documentation on the existing system for future modernization efforts. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-levelled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months of experience in Cold Fusion programming 84 Months of Experience in Cold Fusion Administration and managing software vulnerabilities. 84 Months of experience programming stored procedures and using Microsoft SQL Server. 84 months of experience participating in supporting systems that have multiple interfaces to other systems, complex logic and business rules and servicing large (100+ users) user bases. 84 Months of experience developing Crystal Reports and Crystal Reports Server administration. 48 Months of experience Java programming 24 Months of experience with application authentication using SAML/AD/ADFS.
