Responsibilities and Duties Participate in and/or lead the effort in the evaluation of business requirements and processes, preparation of application system specifications and the development Perform testing and implementation of efficient, cost-effective applications solutions Provide design leadership and set direction for new systems development Establish procedures for change control and product migration Ensure quality through thorough unit testing of all code and participating in systems integrated testing Assist Business Analysts and End Users with any technical issues during systems integrated testing, parallel testing, training sessions and demonstrations Provide on-call support for the production systems on need basis Maintain existing applications adhering to the established architecture and standards for that application Write technical documentation in support of assigned projects Document all code using format established by the project Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with the team, other co-workers, management, clients and vendors Provide technical coaching and mentoring to other members of the systems development team Experience and Qualifications Required Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience Three to five years software development experience Prior experience on Automotive Manufacturing industry domain Experience in developing or maintaining mainframe systems using COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve, BMS / CICS, Control M, DB2, IMS DB2, VSAM, IBM Debugger, Control M, IPSW Experience in working with Microsoft Word and Excel Keywords: Colorado Washington Need Mainframe developer with automotive finance OR Auto Finance OR automobile Finance domain || Seattle , WA|| Day-1 Onsite [email protected] |
