Kindly find the below-mentioned job description and if interested, share your updated resume at [email protected] Position: API Developer Location: 100% Remote (EST Time preferred) Duration: 1 year Visa: NO OPT, CPT, H1B Responsibilities: The API Developer will be responsible for: Designing and building Enterprise APIs to grow and support the digital footprint. Working with stakeholders, technology team leadership and subject matter experts to analyze, design, build and implement APIs needed within the organization Overseeing implementation, documentation, and integration of a variety of software platforms through the REST API framework, Lambdas, and other AWS services. Developing and deploying serverless components hosted on AWS cloud technology. Developing and deploying API policies using Apigee Edge Platform. Understanding creation and deployment of API first design strategy. Collaborating with service delivery team members to ensure solid design principles and platform reliability, resilience, and performance/scalability. Effectively communicating expectations, issues, risks, and decisions to product team. Designing, developing, and prototyping cloud deployed services, APIs, and serverless infrastructure as code to enable business capabilities in alignment with the architecture direction and standards. Building JavaScript (TypeScript) applications. Ensuring adherence to solid architecture guidelines and frameworks related to logging, authentication, security, error recovery etc. Participating in an agile delivery process, and as part of that help size stories and own, research and recommend new solutions Qualifications: 5+ years previous development experience Hands on experience with a variety of AWS services that include, but not limited to: Lambda, NodeJS runtime preferred, DynamoDB , SNS, SQS, S3, API Gateway Experience developing microservices Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch Desired Qualifications: Experience with developing serverless REST APIs using AWS Lambda. Experience creating event driven architectures. AWS certification. Ability to influence and guide product solutions with Technology best practices. BS / MS / PhD in in Computer Science, Math or related engineering fields or equivalent practical experience.
