This is a hybrid role, requiring the employees to be in our Burbank office 2-3x/week (or more based on business needs). We are seeking a strategic and process-oriented Product Owner to manage our internal and external SAAS offerings, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences to our valued Participants. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of our Participants' needs and preferences through comprehensive Voice of the Participant research and analysis, employing various methodologies such as surveys, focus groups, benchmarking, audits, and more with the assistance of a research team. Collaborating closely with the UX, Research, Development, and Customer Support teams, as well as external partners, the Product Owner will play a pivotal role in devising a holistic approach to product management. This encompasses establishing key performance metrics, conducting competitive research and user surveys, integrating personas and customer journeys into the product definition, and overseeing the product roadmap and maintenance schedule. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products. Collaborates with User Experience, Research, Analytics, and Customer Support teams to develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch. Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, Refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables and identifies opportunities and risks. Partners with stakeholders and participants across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization. Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap. Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders. Leads the user-centered product design process based on an intimate knowledge of the participants and technology. Defines and executes deployment plan, ensuring that Customer Support, Compliance, Analytics, and Legal teams have what they need to succeed. Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, related field, or commensurate experience. At least 5 years of relevant experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or software development 5 years of experience executing roadmaps/large initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes and impacts. Strong experience working in Agile environments, including creating and maintaining product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile artifacts. Proven experience in web and digital content development including understanding the technical aspects of mobile products and their capabilities. A track record of successfully leading teams, projects, and initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with different levels (participants, staff, executives, Trustees) to persuade, influence, and drive change. Experience as a change agent energizing teams on an ongoing basis, taking steps to remove barriers or accelerate the pace of the work when needed. Exceptional analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, including analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and presenting recommendations. Solution-oriented approach to building organization-wide process improvements for successful implementation of initiatives. Creative, solution-oriented mindset to effectively tackle challenges and obstacles along the way.
