Position : QA Automation Engineer - ETL Location : Hartford, CT (Hybrid) - must be local Duration: 6 months Contract Visa : USC/GC Interview mode: : video - Job Description Video IV -1 to 2 rounds Key Skills: ETL, Azure DevOps, REST, SOAPUI, SharePoint Required Skills And Experience: 5+ years of experience with Automated Testing Frameworks, Test Strategies, and Test Beds. Proficiency with HP QC, UFT, Stress Stimulus, Azure Dev Ops. Strong familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint. Extensive experience in Agile Methodologies and Software Testing Methodologies. Knowledge of Testing Tools, Testing Frameworks, and Continuous Integration Methodologies. Expertise in various testing domains including Web Application Testing, Distributed System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Database Testing, Mobile Testing, Security Testing, Accessibility Testing, and Web Service Testing. Understanding of Data Modeling and Database Design principles. Thorough grasp of QA best practices in an Agile environment, including authoring test plans, test cases, executing tests, and tracking issues to closure. Experience with Test Driven Development and testing tools and techniques. Proficiency in testing Web Services (REST, SOAP, WCF) using tools like SOAPUI and SOAP Sonar. Specific Services Required: As the Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for: Reviewing system requirements, test scripts, and scenarios to create appropriate testing workflows. Collaborating with Development groups, Product Owners, System Teams, and Operations to ensure effective testing strategies and practices. Assisting in testing processes involving the migration and integration of new and legacy technologies. Generating automated functional tests, regression tests, load tests, and test scenarios focusing on ETL and data conversion. Developing and maintaining efficient, well-documented test scripts for data integration processes. Designing, developing, and implementing ETL testing scripts for data ingestion, cleansing, and business rules execution. Performing tests and validating data flows and ETL processes according to business requirements. Creating complex SQL joins to test data migration requirements. Involvement in all stages of ETL processes including Requirements gathering, Data mapping, Data extraction, Data loading, Data testing, documentation, performance optimization, and maintenance. Demonstrating excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Delivering business and technical value with a proactive and self-directed approach.
