Position: 1 Job Title: DevOps Engineer with On-Premises Redhat OpenShift Administration Experience Work Location: Verizon, Bedminster, NJ (Onsite Position from Day1) Duration: 12 months Job Summary: We are seeking a candidate with versatile expertise in managing On-Premises Redhat OpenShift Container Platform infrastructure combined with DevOps responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in provisioning, managing, and deploying containerized applications utilizing Redhat OpenShift Container Platform infrastructure. Required Skills: RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (Operators, OpenShift Data Foundation, OpenShift Pipelines, Image Registry) Kubernetes Docker Podman Elasticsearch/PostgreSQL-DB Administration Jenkins GitLab Kafka A10 Networks Load Balancing Job Description: Proficient in creating, configuring, and maintaining RedHat OpenShift Container Platform in On-Premises BareMetal and VMWARE environments, including setting up infrastructure and ensuring high availability of the cluster. Manage and administer various services of RedHat OpenShift Container Platform like Operators, OpenShift Data Foundation, Pipelines, Image Registry, OpenShift Serverless, Routes, S3 Compatible Storage, etc. Collaborate with the Development team to containerize applications and address vulnerabilities identified in Static/Dynamic scans & container registry scans. Configure authentication methods (e.g., LDAP), define roles and permissions using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and manage user accounts. Configure networking within the cluster, set up service definitions, networking policies, and ensure communication between applications within and outside the cluster. Configure and manage OpenShift Container Storage (OCS)/OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) for stateful workloads and data services across the platform. Keep OpenShift clusters up to date by performing version upgrades and optimizing cluster performance. Administer On-Premises Elasticsearch clusters, including deployment, configuration, index management, Cross-cluster replication, Snapshot/restore, agent management, cluster upgrades, and troubleshooting. Build and administer Apache/Confluent Kafka messaging platform. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment systems using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Helm. Maintain Gitlab version control system, manage repositories, permissions, Branching, Merging, Tagging, access control strategies, and conflict resolution. Perform Jenkins installation, upgrades, RBAC, Configuration, Plugin installation, backup/restore, Jenkins files, and CI/CD pipelines. Install, configure, upgrade, administer, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL database. Install, Configure, and Manage monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus in Redhat OpenShift clusters and push container logs to Elasticsearch with FluentD/FluentBit. Possess Linux/Windows System Administration Skills including operating system installation and maintenance. Implement concepts of Big Data (Hadoop) ecosystem such as YARN, HDFS, HBase, Zookeeper, Spark, and Hive. Experience with writing Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifest files, and docker files. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform). Identify new tools/technologies for making the release and SCM process more efficient, repeatable, reliable, and cost-effective. Continuously evaluate the platform for security hardening and improvements in observability. Evaluate new technologies and industry trends, develop proofs-of-concept, and present findings. Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code. Certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator are a big plus. Position: 2 Position: Data Architect Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Duration: 6 months, can be extended. Candidate should be experienced in understanding existing system quickly and designing new solutions for fetching the data from SAS based applications ( Sabre ). Job Description: Should be a strong as data architect. Should be 100% hands on Must have strong experience with AWS + Databases + APIs + Kafka. Nice to have hospitality industry experience.
